I'm unsure if I can fully commit. How can I decide if the challenge is suitable for me?

This challenge is about creating awareness to what sugar does to your body, how much it is added to our food, and consciously cutting out sugar from your routines. So you can mindfully choose what you eat.

We’re not chasing perfection. A 100% no sugar score is not the goal. Most of you will achieve this. But ask yourself: when would this challenge be successful to you? With a 100% score, or with new, healthy, and sustainable habits?

Allow yourself 1-3 occasions where you chose a sugar snack, we call these your “jokers”. With these you can mindfully enjoy the treat and experience what sugar does to your body. And how you feel afterwards. This way you create a lifestyle you can retain, even after the challenge.

But does that mean I can never eat sugar again?

Not at all! Completely cutting out sugar forever is not what I want for you. My goal is to help you regain a healthy 80/20 balance in your eating habits—making healthy choices 80% of the time while leaving room to enjoy treats during the other 20%.

It’s also crucial to maintain a positive relationship with food. Never eating sugar again isn’t realistic, nor is it a goal you should aim for. I believe in resetting from the excess sugar in your diet so that, after the program, you can truly savor a little sugar now and then. Think of a slice of cake at a birthday party, a dessert at a special dinner, or celebrating the people you love. The key is making informed and deliberate choices.

Isn’t sugar a necessary part of our diet?

While sugar provides energy, your body doesn’t require added sugars. It gets all the energy it needs from natural sugars in fruits, vegetables, and dairy, as well as carbohydrates in whole grains.

Can I still eat fruit during the challenge?

Yes! Fruits contain natural sugars, but they also come with fiber, vitamins, and minerals. These slow down sugar absorption and make fruit a healthy choice.

What if I crave something sweet?

Cravings are normal, especially in the beginning. Try these tips:

Will I experience withdrawal symptoms?
